Khinalig is located just southwest of Quba in the middle of the Greater Caucasus mountains, which divide the Northern Caucasus in Russia from the South Caucasus. Khinalig is also the highest, most remote, and isolated village in Azerbaijan, as well as one of the highest in the Caucasus. It is a vacation spot for tourism and has been documented and made available via Google Street View. Digitally, everything is virtually everywhere at our fingertips and within reach.
